Lewi Bergrud – heartfelt energy and stage magic
When Lewi Bergrud hits the stage, you can expect a powerful mix of raw energy, soulful surprises and moments that truly move you. This is music that lifts you, shakes you, and gently sets you down again – a full-body experience for both heart and ears.
With deep roots in music and the joyful Norwegian revival scene, Lewi has grown into one of the most sought-after musicians in the country. You’ve likely heard him on albums, TV shows, or even commercials – but it's live that Lewi truly shines.
Today, he’s a solo artist in high demand, touring everywhere from churches to festivals, concert halls to cozy pubs. Wherever he plays, Lewi creates an atmosphere so intimate it feels like you’ve stepped right into his living room.
Lewi’s mission? To create moments – big or small – that stay with you long after the last chord fades.
On stage:
Lewi Bergrud – bass & vocals
Bernt Rune Stray – guitar
Karl Oluf Wennerberg – drums
Jakob Lund Paulsen – piano
Miriam Våga – backing vocals
Marie Klåpbakken – pop meets folk with a fearless fiddle
Marie Klåpbakken is not your average fiddle player. With a crystal-clear voice, honest lyrics and a sound that blends pop, folk and pure emotion – she’s become a standout voice on the Norwegian music scene.
After her heartwarming debut album Framtida, Marie has kept surprising and delighting her audience – from Spotify hits and national radio airplay to collaborations with names like Vinni, Admiral P and Gaute Ormåsen.
🎧 Her singles Mazda 1985 and E39 became instant favourites on NRK P1, and her collaboration with SVER on Våren was described as "a breath of spring with a fiddle at the front and friction when things get too light.”
On stage, she brings a dream team of musicians with her – including members of the award-winning Nordic folk band SVER – delivering a sound that’s both earthy and electric.
On stage:
Marie Klåpbakken – vocals & fiddle
Olav Luksengård Mjelva, Oskar Reuter and Jens Linell (from SVER)
Marte Eberson
Kristina Moen Rousing
Expect an explosive performance that moves seamlessly from playful to powerful – all served with Marie’s signature charm and presence.
Hanne & Elise – local young talents open Stølsrock
We’re kicking off this year’s festival with pure musical joy – and a strong connection to home. Meet Elise Brunner (violin) and Hanne Skrede (piano), two rising stars who have already impressed far beyond Hemsedal.
Elise Brunner (b. 2006) began playing the violin at age six in Germany, where she won multiple first prizes in the Jugend musiziert competition. Since moving to Norway in 2021, she’s joined the Bergen Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and the Barratt Due Young Talents programme.
Hanne Skrede (b. 2008) started piano at the age of five and is also a Young Talents student at Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo.
These two have performed together many times over the years – both in Hemsedal and beyond – and this year, they have the honour of opening Stølsrock with a performance that promises to be both heartwarming and inspiring.
Don’t miss this beautiful beginning to the festival!
