Solheisen junior freestyle competition

SOLHEISEN JUNIOR FREERIDE - FJT 3 *, Hemsedal 5-6 March - ski + snowboard

Solheisen Junior Freeride is a traditional freeride competition, with an FJT 3 * face in playful and exciting terrain. The facade is a little higher up and south of the trails in the Solheisen ski resort.

The competition is part of the junior Norgescupen in Freeride, and a Freeride Junior Tour 3 * competition (14-18 years). It will be decided no later than 14 days before the event whether we will run qualifiers and finals in all NC / FJT classes, or only one run by default.

For everyone from 7 and up to 13 years, there will be a shorter and less demanding face, so that the competition will also be adapted to the younger ones.

REGISTRATION - DEADLINE 15 February, but the classes are closed as they are full.

There are two parallel cups for the juniors in Norway, and with almost the same competitions.

NC - NORGESCUP Junior Freeride:

Here are the following places / competitions with; Ride & Play Hemsedal, Solheisen Junior Freeeride, Høkkers Junior Freeride, Hemsedal Junior Freeride, Oppdal Junior Freeride, Sauda BCC Junior, Røldal Junior Freeride, and Narvik Junior Freeride. Here, winners will be chosen in the age groups from 2008-2009, 2006-20007 and 2003-2005.

FJT, FREERIDE JUNIOR TOUR:

This is the international cup for the juniors and which gives points and rankings for participation in competitions in Norway and abroad, as well as selection for the junior WC. The following competitions will also be FJT competitions: Ride & Play Hemsedal, Solheisen Junior Freeride, Oppdal Junior Freeride, Sauda BCC Junior, Røldal Junior Freeride and Narvik Junior Freeride.

Here, winners will be chosen in the Norwegian FJT Cup, as well as given an international FJT ranking for the age groups born before 12/5 2008 and after 12/5 2003.

WHERE SHOULD I REGISTER?

Everyone born 2007 to 2003 registers via (Freeride Junior tour): https://www.freerideworldtour..... as soon as possible, no later than 21 January. (Athletes born between 1 / 1-08 and 11 / 5-08, can choose to upgrade from the Norgescup class, NC 08-09, to the class NC 06-07 + FJT U-16, and then also register via Freeride World Tour). The competition will take place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March, and the program for the weekend will be distributed on the event page on Facebook and via email to all participants the week before. Start lists will be made available on the day of the competition.
