Tottelia Bike Park

For Beginners and Families

  • Tottelia Bike Park – green and blue trails designed for kids and beginners to experience real mountain biking.
  • Pumptrack in Hemsedal town centre – part of Hemsedal Activity Park, where young and old can build confidence and test their skills. The park also has a skatepark, bowl, and outdoor fitness and play equipment, making it a fun spot for the whole family.
  • Grøndals Trail – a gentle gravel and forest trail along the river, perfect for a relaxed family outing.
  • Gravel rides along Fanitullvegen or Hemsila– ideal for those who love scenic gravel road adventures.

Tip: Pack a picnic and stop by the beach in the town centre or along Grøndøla for a refreshing swim!

High Line

For the Adventurous: Intermediate Trails with Flow and Fun

  • Silverstone– a 10 km blue flow trail in Hemsedal Rides, packed with perfect turns and berms that'll give you goosebumps.
  • High Line – a blue trail with a bit more bite. Expect some climbing before the flow and small jumps lead you back down.
  • Red Line in Tottelia Bike Park – get your wheels off the ground and enjoy playful corners.
  • Kariset Trail – a classic mountain trail with stunning views and just the right level of technical challenge.

Lunch tip: Swing by the mountain restaurants or drop in at Flatbrødbakeriet and their cosy café!

  • The Red Flow Trail – a red-rated trail with more challenges but unbeatable flow. Expect technical sections that push your skills further if you choose the harder lines.
  • Expert Trails – Here, you’ll want a local guide to show you hidden gems with roots, rocks, and steep drops that'll get your heart racing.

Hemsedal Trail Daze

Hemsedal Trail Daze – A Festival for Trail Lovers!

From August 7th–10th, riders of all ages and levels gather for Hemsedal Trail Daze – four days of biking, learning, and good times.

This mountain biking festival is all about creating an inclusive atmosphere for everyone – from experienced riders to families and beginners.

Expect:

  • Bosch E-trail competition
  • Mechanics workshops
  • Big Jump sessions for those who want to send it!
  • Enduro camp with coach Jonas Olsson
  • Guided rides and clinics

  • Need a bike? Hemsedal has several places offering mountain bikes, e-bikes, and gear for rent.
