During the summer season, from June 25 to August 13, Hemsedal Church opens its doors every day between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The church is open to anyone seeking a quiet moment – whether you're a local resident, a tourist, a mountain hiker, or simply passing by.

Located in the heart of the village, surrounded by majestic mountains and green hillsides, Hemsedal Church offers an open space for rest and reflection. Here you can come in, light a candle, say a prayer, read a passage – or simply sit in silence and take in the calm.

In a time when our days are often filled with noise and rush, the Open Church offers a chance to step back. No program, no expectations – just a door that’s open and a space that welcomes you.
