At the newly renovated Skarsnuten hotel, they have built a wellness section that overlooks the beautiful mountains in Hemsedal. Here you can enjoy good experiences and a fantastic view with your friends, your lover, your family, your job - or alone. Whether you choose one of the saunas, footbaths, adventure showers, jacuzzi or ice bath, relaxed shoulders and replenishment of energy are guaranteed. On Fridays can you join the "Aufguss" event. "Aufguss" is a fantastic sauna experience with exquisite essential oils, fragrances, and beautiful music. At Fyri Resort you will find an inviting pool area with sunbeds, a bar and snacks. Here you can frolic in both the outdoor and indoor pools, and here you can recharge your batteries in a nice bathrobe, in front of a good fireplace, with great music and a good drink. Book into the Pool Club and enjoy the mountains from the edge of the pool.
In the center you will find the Helselaben which, in addition to a strength room, also offers various treatments. Choose from different forms of massage; from light aroma massage to deep sports massage.
Hemsedal Climbing Centre - In the SkiStar Alpin Suite at the bottom of the children's area, you will find Hemsedal's climbing center which has climbing for the whole family. Here you can both try your hand at bouldering and climbing with a harness up the high wall. If you need help and instruction, it is also possible to book an instructor. Shopping
You will find a large selection of shops in Hemsedal. Many of them are located in the center of Hemsedal, such as MOH+ and Totten sport. In the Rampa shopping center you will find both clothes at Finbeck & Fia and at Traktøren you will find everything from wine glasses from Riedel to bed linen and napkins, so if you need something new for the home, it is highly likely that you will find it at Traktøren. Just across the street next to the Tourist Office is the interior shop Hemsedal Møbler and at Hovtun just below Totten Sport, you will also find an interior shop called Hemsen Interiør. In Hemsedal ski center you have two sports shops, it is SkiStar's Concept Store which you will find in Alpin Lodge and Hemsedal Skishop. In Ulsåk you will find Fjøset, which is a hidden gem of a shop as well as several construction and painting shops, and on Torset you can pop into Dyrja and find great gifts or perhaps something for yourself.
Food and drinks
Sometimes it's nice to hide inside and enjoy world-class food with something good in the glass. In Hemsedal you will find many restaurants and they have something for every taste.
How about a romantic date at Skigaarden or Liv Restaurant at Fyri Resort? At Skarsnuten hotell you can enjoy good food at the top of Hemsedal in restaurant Lynx and in addition they have opened a Japanese restaurant, Miru, where you get Japanese flavors with a Nordic twist. At the bottom of Hemsedal Ski Center you will find both O'learys, Lodgen Spiseri and the cozy Italian restaurant Deli di Montagna.
In the city center you will find amazing food Hemsedal Cafe. Peppes Pizza is open every day and is the children's favourite. Are you craving Chinese food? At Ulsåk you can visit the China Garden.
If you want a special dining experience, I recommend you check if there is an opportunity to come to the Harahorn restaurant, on the mountain above Grøndalen. Here you eat in an old royal farm food with flavors of the surrounding mountains. A fantastic environment with beautiful surroundings.

Play indoors
At Fyri Resort, you can relax in an armchair with a cup of coffee while you wait for your friend to make the next move on the chessboard. Here you will also find shuffle board and a pool table in the bar.

Outdoor activities
If you want a short hike in wintertime, we can recommend a trip to Rjukandefossen. You park at rv 52 after Tuv and then a short path takes you to the waterfall itself.
You probably know that we have many activities in Hemsedal that are not skiing and that fit in well on a day with slightly bad weather. We can recommend a snowshoeing trip, which is a great activity that suits most weather conditions.
