Summer has
arrived to Hemsedal

More of Hemsedal's Top 20 Peaks Are Now Accessible
There are still reminders of winter at higher elevations, but several of the red-marked peaks in Hemsedal's popular Top 20 challenge are already accessible.
You can currently hike:
- Høllekølten
- Karisetberget
- Hulbakstølen
- Steget
- Geiteberget
- Storhøvda
- Totten
- Raudberg
- Røggjin
On the remaining red peaks, you should expect some snow along the route – in some places just a little, in others quite a lot. But that's part of what makes June such a special time in the mountains. You get to experience the transition from winter to summer in a single hike.
We continuously update trail conditions and peak status under Hiking now in Hemsedal-appen.
We remind you about the law of leash - that you need to keep you dog on a leash - until October 31st. Read more on Mountain Ethics

Plenty of ways to kick off summer
While we wait for the highest peaks to become completely snow-free, there is no shortage of activities to enjoy.

Available activities right now include:
- Dog sledding with Hemsedal Huskies or Dalo Fjellgård
- Alpaca hike
- Canoeing
- Via Ferrata
- Golf in Grøndalen and Golf Alpin
- Tennis in Grøndalen

Fancy exploring beyond Hemsedal? Join Helmut from Vis Motus for a guided kayaking trip through the spectacular Nærøyfjord, one of Norway's most breathtaking fjords.

Rainy Day? No Problem.
Mountain weather can change quickly, but there are plenty of indoor options when the clouds roll in.
Try your swing at the golf simulator, relax at the Pool Club at Fyri Resort, or unwind in the spa at Skarsnuten Mountain Resort.
