Welcome to an atmospheric evening that is guaranteed to give you a good start to the Advent season, with everything you expect and hope for when it comes to the Christmas spirit. Here you will find well-known and beloved Christmas songs and some new favourites.
Hanna Songøygard Smørvik is a local hobby musician and singer who mostly performs at weddings and funerals, but for the past four years, she has held a Christmas concert in Lykkja. She has always aimed to find songs for the concert that push the right emotional buttons to truly get people into the Christmas spirit — and this year, she’s teaming up with Leif Ingvald Skaug to give the audience both goosebumps and a sense of Christmas peace.
Leif Ingvald is well known to many as the host of Fredag med Skaug on TVL, “the organist,” and as the leader of Gospel Explosion in Norway.
Based on past experience, it tends to fill up quickly — so there will be two concerts, at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
