Activities in May
The snow has melted and Hemsedal is yet again green and lushy in the valley, some of our activities we have to wait until all the snow has melted but there are several activities that are suitable now.
Horse and carrige, Horseback riding, Alpakka walks, Huskey ride on wheels with Dalo Fjellgård or Hemsedal HuskiesClimbing center, Snow shoeing og Mountain Cart are amongst the activities that you can book through Hemsedal Aktiv now in May.
As the snow melts, the mountain hikes begin to emerge, peaks that are more or less open are Høllekølten, Steget, Geiteberget, Storhøvda og Karisetberget. We update with more mountain hikes as they are ready for summer.
It is also nice to go to the waterfall Rjukandefossen and to visit the "big mythical stone" Klokkarsteinen in Ulsåk, just remember to read the legends about it when you visit it.
We all wishes you a wonderful May 17th!
