Welcome to Hemsedal Cinema 🎬

Hemsedal Cinema is a cosy village cinema run by Samhald Youth Association, with the help of local volunteers and the cinema manager. It’s located in the same building as Hemsedal Municipality, offering film screenings for both kids and adults – right in the heart of town.

🎥 Useful info:

• Screenings: Sundays on even-numbered weeks (week 2, 4, 6, etc.)

• Ticket prices:
  Adults (14+): NOK 100
  Children: NOK 60

• Payment: Card or Vipps

• Seat reservation: Not available – first come, first served

• Summer break: No screenings during summer

• Snacks: Popcorn, sweets, and drinks are sold at the kiosk

👥 Age ratings and language:

• A – suitable for all

• 6 years – younger children can attend with an adult (Norwegian language)

• 9 years – children from 6 years with an adult (often English with Norwegian subtitles)

• 12 years – children from 9 years with an adult

• 15 years – children from 12 years with an adult

• 18 years – strict age limit

We want everyone to have a good time at the cinema. If your child is attending alone, please remind them to be considerate – like staying seated and quiet during the film.
