Consert with Norwegian artist Marthe Wang

Marthe Wang was born and raised in Bergen. She graduated from the Norwegian Academy of Music in 2014, where she studied jazz singing and music education.

In February 2017, her debut album "Ut og se noe annet" was released to rave reviews. She was nominated for a Spellemann Award in the Vise category, and the song "Til deg" was selected as the official song for Kirkens Bymisjon’s TV campaign in 2018. This song has since become a cherished part of Norway’s musical heritage.

In 2018, she received the Lyspunktpris from the Lyricists’ Fund and the prestigious Edvard Prize from TONO for the lyrics on "Ut og se noe annet."

On April 17, 2020, she released her follow-up album "Bakkekontakt", under her own label, Bjerke. With a 6/6 rating from Bergensavisen, a 5/6 rating from VG, and glowing praise from Dagens Næringsliv, she undoubtedly succeeded in following up on her debut success. The lead single "No sier eg adjø" received heavy airplay and was added to NRK P1’s A-list. Listen to it here.
