RAIL DAZE (noun):
A state of being completely immersed in the moment while riding on a trail, triggered by the beauty of nature or the sensation of mastering physical challenges.
Destination Hemsedal, Hemsedal IL, and their partners welcome you to the ultimate mountain biking experience this summer. Surrounded by the magnificent nature of Hemsedal, the festival will offer a program filled with challenges for everyone, from the active family with children to the most hardcore cyclist.
The festival program includes, among other things, a Kids Camp, guided tours in the mountains around Hemsedal, dedicated tours focusing on food and drink, and a special guided sunset tour. We will also offer tours just for girls, bike maintenance courses, and technique courses with experienced cyclists. In addition, we will naturally use the great new trails in the ski area, and there will be lots of cool competitions with awesome prizes and surprises.
On Saturday, July 6th, the Bosch eTrail will take place. A bike race for electric bikes inspired by similar races in places like Lake Garda, Willingen, and Verbier. Think electric bike meets orienteering in the mountains with elements of different stages and stations along the way that will offer various challenges for all levels.
