This path and trail requires that you have a certain basic understanding of mountain biking, and that you have a skill level that allows you to ride this path. If you're unsure, try one of the easier trails and work your way up to this red.
Tottelia is a collection of different cycle tracks of varying degrees of difficulty which means that almost everyone can find themselves a challenge and have fun. This network of trails means that the family can go together, and make a nice stop at the barbecue area, or take in the beautiful scenery at one of the many viewpoints in Tottelia.
This is the highest difficulty graded trail in the total 1.7km long trail network.

Familiarize yourself with the path and grading descriptions. Choose trail according to skill level. Follow the recommended direction of travel where applicable.
5. The cyclist has an obligation to give way

Cyclists coming from behind are responsible for avoiding collisions. Be especially careful when entering or crossing a path.
6. Exit the path at a stop

Never stop in tight or unclear places. If you are on foot in prepared cycle paths, you must pay particular attention.
7. Use safety equipment
–
Helmets are required, and other safety equipment is recommended. Always make sure the bike is in good condition. Check brakes, dampers and wheels.
8. Take care of the path
–
Avoid unnecessary wear and tear. Do not lock the rear wheel. Natural paths are extra vulnerable and other user groups also travel here. Show special consideration.

Hemsedal rides is located in Hemsedal Skisenter. If you arrive with car you have to take off on rv.52 towards Hemsedal skisenter.

Public transport
You can take public transport to Hemsedal with buss 360 from Gol and Vy170 from Sogndal and Oslo. From the busstopp you have to walk or bike for 5 minutes to get to Hemsedal rides.
