A ski tour with Hemsedal Fjellsport gives you more than just the views – you’ll join guides who know where to find the best snow. We guide tours to one or several of Hemsedal’s stunning peaks, adapted to your experience:

Whether you’re taking your very first steps with skins or seeking new lines and steeper terrain, the guide shapes the day so everyone gets a sense of mastery and good snow.

What the tours offer:

  • First-timers: help with equipment, technique and safe travel

  • Experienced skiers: fresh routes, better flow and new lines to explore

  • Groups: up to 6 guests per guide for a safer, more personal experience

All guides are certified avalanche instructors through the Norwegian Mountaineering Forum (NF).

FAQ – Guided Ski Touring in Hemsedal

How difficult are the tours?
Each tour is fully tailored to the group. You don’t need to be an expert – there are easy and more challenging options.

What equipment do I need?
Bring ski touring equipment (skis, skins and boots) and clothing suited to the weather. Avalanche gear is included if you don’t have your own.

How long does a tour take?
Most outings last between 4 and 6 hours depending on conditions and the group’s goals.

Can I book as a solo skier?
Yes. You can book a private guide or join a small group if space is available.

How many can join?
Maximum 6 guests per guide to keep safety and experience at a high level.

Is it safe?
Yes. All guides are NF-certified avalanche instructors who continuously assess snow, terrain and weather.

Are courses available too?
Hemsedal Fjellsport also offers ski touring courses and avalanche training for those who want to learn more.
