Curious about ice climbing? Hemsedal offers several easily accessible icefalls perfect for beginners and adventurous skiers wanting to try something completely different. With Hemsedal Fjellsport, you get safe instruction, clear technique coaching and a unique winter experience.

What you’ll learn

Hands-on, practical and suited for first-timers:

  • Top-rope belaying on ice

  • Basic ice climbing technique

  • Crampon use and ice axe handling
