Nice short hiking trail suitable for the whole family. The trail goes through an old mountain farm area and leads to Storevatn.

A small family hike even for the youngest in the family. The trail splits and you can head towards Hyndestrondi or Notodden - or walk one first and then the other. Both trails end at Storevatnet, which is a nice area for swimming and fishing.
Author's advice
On a warm day, you can bring swimwear and enjoy a dip in fresh mountain water.
Turn-by-turn directions
The hike starts at the parking lot at Trefta. Follow the gravel road towards Storevatn. The trail splits and you can take the path towards Hyndestrondi or Notodden.

From rv 52, turn towards Lykkja and drive to Trefta, the parking for the top20 peak Skogshorn.
