Gravsetåsen round - Hiking trail
Great route where you can combine several of our Top20 peaks in the same circular route. Well suited for families. It is recommended to bring a map, as some places are poorly marked.
Images
If you are looking for a perfect route where you spend the day in the mountains with many breaks, this is the route for you. You start the route at Gravset and climb directly to the first Top20, Storhøvda, in about an hour. At the top, you get a full view in all directions of Skogshødn, Lykkja, Hydnefossen, and all the lakes in the mountains! The trail then follows the ridge of the mountain until you go down to Top20 number 2, Geiteberget. At Geiteberget, you get an incredibly nice view over the valley to the west.
The trail back goes across the lower part of the mountain and takes you all the way back to the parking lot. The route takes about 3.5 hours without breaks.
Author's advice
Stop by Bydgatunet, Geiteberget and Storhøvda. Pack a backpack with a good lunch and chocolate you can enjoy.
