Gravsetåsen - Roundtrip
A wonderful roundtrip where you can combine multiple Topp20 hikes. Suitable for most hikers. The path might be poorly marked so we recommend bringing a map with you.

If you're looking to spend a good day in the mountains with plenty of time for breaks this is the hike for you. You start the hike at Gravset and accent to the first Topp20, Storhøvda, in an hour. At the top, you'll get a 360 view over Skogshødn, Lykkja, Hydnefossen waterfall and all lakes in the area. The path continues along the top of the mountain before ascending to the second Topp20, Geiteberget. You know you reached Geiteberget when you step out on an open rock plateau with views of the valley to the west.
The path back goes on the lower side of the hill and takes you all the way back to the parking. The walk around takes 3.5 hours, without breaks.
You walk on a normal forest trail surrounded by changing forest - from pine to birch. There are many flowers, berries and birds all around reminding you to take a moment to enjoy the little things in nature.

Bring a backpack filled with energy bars, chocolate and hot cocoa to enjoy while taking in the many sights from this hike.

Safety information
There are free-grazing animals on this route, so keep your dog on a leash. Bring water!
Directions
Drive to Ulsåk from centrum and by the KIWI store take a left up towards Lykkja. After 5km you will find parking by Gravet on the left-hand side of the road with the sign "Storhøvda". Follow the marked path.
Parking
Plenty of parking on the left-hand side of the road. At times during the year, there is a fee for parking here.
