Welcome to the Open Farm at Dalo Fjellgård – A new member of Destinasjon Hemsedal!
At the idyllic Dalo farm, operated by Espen and Marthe and located at Øvre Hemsedalsveg 1166, they are opening their doors for a charming "Open Farm" event that will captivate both young and old this summer and autumn.
Visitors to the farm can look forward to a day filled with animal cuddles and natural beauty, where they can meet alpacas, miniature pigs, peacocks, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats, rabbits, and bottle-fed lambs. The farm also offers a special experience with guided alpaca walking. Here, guests can get up close and personal with these majestic animals and enjoy a peaceful walk of about 1 kilometer through fields, paths, and woods.
After the walk, visitors can relax by the fire pit in the old stable, where coffee, cocoa, and waffles are served. It’s also possible to grill your own food, creating lasting memories with family and friends.
The entrance fee is 120 NOK per person, with free admission for children under two years. Dalo Fjellgård asks guests to leave their own pets at home to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
From autumn 2024, Dalo Fjellgård will further expand its offerings with dog sledding, available in both autumn and winter. This exciting new option will allow guests to drive their own dog sled team, and no previous experience is necessary. Experience the thrill of dog sledding on a cart in the autumn and on a sled in the winter.
