The Beihovdløypa loop itself is 7.1 km, while from the parking areas in Hølleskaret you can estimate the total hike to be 9-10 km.
The trail can also be accessed via cross-country ski tracks from Skigaarden.

Bringing the dog? Remember that your dog should not bother others. During Christmas, winter, and Easter holidays there is leash requirement in all machine-prepared trails in Hemsedal. On ski arenas and in valley & forest trails from Gravset in the east to Feten and Lio in the west, leash requirement applies all season. Thank you for cleaning up after your dog.

Directions
Follow Rv 52 westward about 2 km. Turn towards Hemsedal Skisenter and drive right just after the bridge. After SkiStar Lodge, drive through the toll station (it takes a photo of the license plate, and you pay within 48 hours at youpark.no using Vipps or card, or you receive an invoice plus invoice fee by mail). Follow Holdeskardvegen up and into the mountains. About 6.5 km from the national road you will find a large parking lot (Holdeskaret) down on the left side, park there.
