Bjøberg - Lio - Tuv - Hemsedal sentrum
From approx week 8, the beautiful high mountain trails in Hemsedal are open in stable weather. Check skisporet.no for status.
This is comfortable high mountain trail as it follows the valley from the mountain towards Hemsedal.
Images
A great cross-country skiing trail that runs on the old kings road paralell to the main road Rv52 that goes over the Hemsedal mountain.
Although this trail runs in the valley, the section from Bjøberg to Lio is defined as a high mountain trail as the upper part of the trail is particularly exposed to weather conditions.
See live grooming status of tracks at skisporet.no.
Is you dog with you? There is a leash requirement in all machine-groomed trails during Christmas-, winter-, and Easter holidays. Also note that the leash requirement is valid all season for the ski areanas Gravset (up to 8 km) and Totteskogen, as well as the valley & forest tracks from Gravset in the east to Feten and Lio in the west. Remember that your dog should not hinder anyone and thank you for cleaning up after your dog.
