We warmly welcome you to Skigaarden this summer. We're opening the last weekend of June, offering both accommodation and restaurant service at 1013 metres above sea level. Here, you can breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy a wide range of activities suitable for all ages. Skigaarden is beautifully located in the sun-drenched Holdeskaret valley, opening westward – a truly special place to be.
A Taste of Skigaarden
Dagligstugu will be open from 28 June, serving a simple summer menu: delicious pizzas, sandwiches, and sweet treats to go with your coffee. You'll also find outdoor games and activities for when you want a break from the bike saddle.
The Mountains on Your Doorstep
As the snow melts, Skigaarden and Hemsedal transform into a paradise for summer activities. Just outside your door lies a vast network of hiking trails and bike paths – perfect for a day in the great outdoors. Whether you’re into downhill biking, peaceful walks along scenic trails, or casting a line in one of the many nearby mountain lakes, there’s something here for you.
We offer apartments that give you more space than a standard hotel room, complete with light to fully equipped kitchen facilities. OMAKASE MEANS "LEAVE IT TO THE CHEF"
Let us take the reins and treat you to an elegant, artistic and carefully curated meal. The daily menu is crafted from the finest seafood available – sourced from both Norway and around the world. Sushi Chef Pedro Farinha and his team use traditional edomae techniques paired with modern culinary artistry.
Book a truly unique experience this summer! Reserve a minimum of six seats for an Omakase evening and get the restaurant all to yourselves.
Our sushi chefs are available for bookings from 22 June throughout the autumn. Reservations must be made at least one week in advance.
