Lykkja Feriesenter sits in peaceful surroundings in Lykkja, Hemsedal, Norway’s highest active farming village. From the terrace you look out towards Hemsedal and the Golsfjellet mountains. With its sunlit position at 850 metres above sea level, you enjoy sunlight throughout the year and wide views towards Tisleifjorden and Storevann.
The cabin was fully renovated in 2014–2015 and offers a high standard with a fresh, modern feel. The interior has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. There is generous parking space directly outside for several cars.
This is an ideal base for anyone who loves outdoor life. You get privacy and calm, yet you’re only a 25-minute drive from Hemsedal town centre and all facilities.
In winter you can head straight out the door and onto miles of prepared ski tracks leading towards both Golsfjellet and Hemsedal, or the high-mountain trails on Kjølen. Try ski touring, kiting or dog sledding.
In summer you have mountain hikes, gravel cycling, hunting and fishing. Horse riding and sleigh rides are available right in the neighbourhood.
