Dogs chasing or attacking sheep and goats is an increasing problem across Norway – and Hemsedal is no exception. This open evening brings together experts, local stakeholders and people who care about the mountains to share knowledge, experiences and practical solutions that work.
What do we know about the extent of the problem today? Why does it happen? What responsibilities do dog owners have, and what can livestock owners do? And perhaps most importantly: how can we work together to prevent chasing and injuries before they occur?
The evening includes short presentations, films, open discussions and plenty of time for questions from the audience.
