Join us for a special “Trøll Saturday” storytime as author Veronika Erstad reads from her children’s book:
“Saga and Storm Are Not Boyfriend and Girlfriend!”
She’ll even bring her little dog along – so expect wagging tails and plenty of smiles.
This event is best suited for children aged 5–9 years.
What is the book about?
Saga and Storm are best friends. Everything is fine – until a new girl, Boel, starts in their class.
Suddenly there are new rules:
Girls can’t play with boys (because they might get “boy lice”!)
Saga and Storm have to be boyfriend and girlfriend
And why on earth should Boel get Knerten – Saga’s favourite puppy?
But what do you do when you want to speak up… and it feels really difficult?
This is a story about:

And standing up for yourself
