Nice trail that goes both along Grøndøla and then up Karisetberget and down again towards Rjukandefossen. Long downhill towards Rjukandefossen and back to Tuv.

Bringing a dog? Remember that your dog should not hinder others. Dogs must be kept on a leash all season in valley & forest trails from Gravset in the east to Feten and Lio in the west, as well as at the ski arenas in Totteskogen and Gravset. In Christmas, winter, and Easter holidays leash rules apply on all machine-prepared trails in Hemsedal. Thank you for cleaning up after your dog.

Turn-by-turn directions

The route starts at Tuv, by the Flatbread Bakery. You walk along Grøndøla towards Fargeset. Turn left and follow the trail uphill, then comes a long downhill towards rv 52. You must take off your skis and walk across the highway and get on the trail on the other side again. Nice walk through the forest back towards Tuv again. The last part of the route goes through the residential area in Tuv, here you may have to take off your skis and walk back to the parking lot.

Parking lot in the middle of Tuv, right across the road from Hemsedal Flatbread Bakery.
