The Hemsilstigen is a simple and great hiking trail for anyone who wants to go for a walk on flat terrain.
Halfway along the path you will come to the Solstad suspension bridge, here you can continue your journey over to the other side and walk the Fiskumstigen or the Grønåsstigen. If you choose the Fiskumstien, you can take it back to the center again. If you choose Grønåsstigen, you go up Grønåsen and come back to Hemsilstigen at the Krikken waterworks.

The path starts behind the fire station in Hemsedal. Here there is a wide and nice path that is also suitable for prams and some wheelchairs.
The walk runs along Hemsila and after a few 100 meters you enter a part of the forest, here it becomes a nature trail with roots and so it continues all the way to the Krikken waterworks where you turn around and go back the same way.
