Helsingvatnet round 12 km
Great trail that starts at the car park at Hestanåne and goes around the lake Helsingevatnet.

Nice circular track in beautiful and sunny terrain with a great view to Skogshødn.
The trail has an easy, flat starting point and goes via Ulsåkstølen, and continues under Skogshorn.
Just over 2 km after Ulsåkstølen, approx. 5.5 km from the car park there is a cozy rest area with, among other things, benches and fire pit. The last part of the trail (after the rest area) is in forest terrain and slightly more demanding terrain with several hills.

Is you dog with you? There is a leash requirement in all machine-groomed trails during Christmas-, winter-, and Easter holidays. Also note that the leash requirement is valid all season for the ski areanas Gravset (up to 8 km) and Totteskogen, as well as the valley & forest tracks from Gravset in the east to Feten and Lio in the west. Remember that your dog should not hinder anyone and thank you for cleaning up after your dog.

If you think it's scary skiing up and down hills, you can go the trail back and forth on the Skogshorn side past Ulsåkstølen
Turn-by-turn directions
The tour starts at the Hestanåni car park and goes in a loop towards Ulsåkstølen and down towards Løkkjestølane before turning off towards Storhøvda and Helsingelia.

Take off on rv 52 towards Lykkja. After approx. 7 km you will find the car park on the right
