Fekjatn - hiking trail
A nice hiking trail that runs through forest terrain.
Images
A trip that can be done as a round trip from the city center/Ulsåk-Fekjan. Follow the blue marked path. Goes over some soft marsh areas at Olatjedn.
Author's advice
Visit Hemsedal Bygdatun and see what a farmyard in Hemsedal looked like in the 17th-18th centuries. When Bygdatun is open you can take a guided tour of the premises and hear what life was like in the past.
The trip can be combined with Gravsetåsen and become a round trip via the top 20 peak Storhøvda.
You get great views of Hydnefossen in several places and when you are on top of Stohøvda you see Skogshorn 1728 m above sea level and great views of the waters of Lykkja.
When you return you can take a detour to Geiteberget (Top 20) 834 m above sea level.
Equipment
Bring a day pack with lunch and something to drink.
