After 40 years of loyalty, 65-year-old Annema receives a brutal message: her husband Arne has found a younger woman, and Annema has to leave. Together with Nina, who has been deemed “too old” for working life, and Mona, who is struggling to make ends meet, she decides enough is enough.
The three women retire from their law-abiding ways and come up with a rather ambitious plan: to rob Norway's sovereign wealth fund.
Starring Hege Schøyen, Anne Marie Ottersen and Anette Hoff, Pensjonskuppet is a Norwegian action comedy packed with humour, an audacious heist and a rather unconventional approach to retirement.
