Day-time Cinema - Nurnberg

Nurnberg

In the aftermath of World War II, justice takes shape in the ruins of a broken Europe. Nürnberg is a powerful psychological drama about guilt, power – and how ordinary men can commit extraordinary evil.

In the shadow of justice: Nürnberg

As the world struggles to comprehend the horrors of World War II, the foundations are laid for one of history’s most important trials.

In Nürnberg, American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek) is tasked with assessing the mental state of Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe) and other high-ranking Nazi leaders awaiting trial. At the same time, the Allied forces work to establish the Nuremberg Tribunal – a historic attempt to hold the Third Reich accountable for its crimes.

What begins as a professional evaluation soon develops into a disturbing psychological duel. As Kelley is drawn deeper into Göring’s mind, the lines between observer and participant begin to blur. The confrontation exposes an unsettling truth: that unimaginable acts of evil can be carried out not by monsters, but by seemingly ordinary men.

Nürnberg is a gripping and thought-provoking film that combines historical weight with intense dramatic tension. A haunting exploration of morality, responsibility and the dark corners of human nature.
