Nice round trip of about 4 km with a couple of steep hills from Solheisen or Hemsedal Golf Club.

Images

In Grøndalen, you get sun in the cross-country ski trail early in the season.

See groomed trails at loyper.net.

Bringing your dog? Remember the dog should not be a nuisance to others. There is a leash requirement all season in the valley & forest trails from Gravset in the east to Feten and Lio in the west, as well as at the ski arenas in Totteskogen and Gravset. During Christmas, winter, and Easter holidays, there is a leash requirement in all machine-groomed trails in Hemsedal. Thank you for cleaning up after your dog.

Author's advice

Stop by Solstua in Solheisen for a cup of cocoa or some delicious food after the trip.
