Beautiful cross-country skiing route along the valley from Ulsåk to Tuv or vice versa. A fairly flat route that suits most people and is good for beginners.

Choose whether you want to start the route at Ulsåk or Tuv and go the whole way or a shorter section. The ski bus and local bus 360 can be used if you don't want to go back and forth.

The route goes through the valley.

The entire route is 11 km, but since it is quite flat it is easy to manage for most people.

You can of course also start the route in the center and go to Tuv or Ulsåk.

The trail is groomed as soon as there is enough snow and will be groomed almost every day or as needed throughout the cross-country season.

There are classic tracks all the way, but parts of the trail also have skating tracks.

See groomed trails at loyper.net.

Bringing your dog? Remember that the dog should not disturb others. There is a leash requirement all season in the valley & forest trails from Gravset in the east to Feten and Lio in the west, as well as at the ski arenas in Totteskogen and Gravset. During Christmas, winter, and Easter holidays, there is a leash requirement in all machine-groomed trails in Hemsedal. Thank you for cleaning up after your dog.

Author's advice

In Tuv, there is a cozy café that serves local delicacies with the coffee. The café is located in the center and is called Ein Smak Tå Hemsedal.
