The kitchen at Harahorn offers a culinary experience inspired by the season, local ingredients, nature and the mountains around Hemsedal. Reindeer that have grazed in the surrounding areas, mountain trout from Hemsedalsvann, self-picked mulberries, crickets, cranberries, junipers and moss, are some of the flavors that form the basis for the kitchen's flavors.
We are proud to present our new star chefs Harald Hamre and Trine Kaspara Hamre, a couple with incredibly good and long experience from star restaurants in Norway and abroad. We are not just talking about some of the very best places to eat in Oslo, but from restaurants in Paris, London, New York and Zimbabwe. Jørgen Kolderup and the team are very excited and can confirm that the culinary philosophy will continue in the same direction as before; with a focus on nature and local flavors in Harahorn's very own style.
